A FIRE crew was called to Wimborne Road West near Canford Bottom Roundabout to tackle a car blaze.
The road was partially closed while firefighters battled the blaze.
It was out by 1.45pm, and the car was moved to a lay-by to be recovered.
Nobody was hurt.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a mechanical failure.
