FIREFIGHTERS put out a car blaze in East Street, Wimborne, this afternoon. Witnesses reported hearing three loud bangs as the car erupted into a ball of flames just after 4.30pm. Four police vehicles attended and the road was shut while the fire brigade tackled the incident. No-one was hurt in the drama.
