Man punched in the face outside V nightclub in Bournemouth

A 20-YEAR-OLD Bournemouth man suffered serious injuries when he was punched in the face outside a nightclub.

The victim needed hospital treatment for facial injuries after the attack, which took place outside V, near the Moon in the Square pub in Exeter Road at 3.30am on Tuesday January 22.

He was struck after a verbal altercation with three unknown men, all aged between 18 and 25.

The attacker is described as having an olive skin and he was with two other men, one black and one white. They ran off in the direction of Bournemouth Square after the incident.

“This attack has left the victim with serious injuries” said DC Jo Shewbridge of Bournemouth CID.

“I am appealing for witnesses to assist with the investigation.”
