WIMBORNE Road was shut between Richmond Hill and Cemetery Junction this evening after a crash.

A motorbike and pedestrian were involved in the collision close to Cemetery Junction at around 5.37pm this evening.

Parts of Wimborne Road were closed off while the collision was dealt with.

The woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene.

I will get in before someone say bet she was speeding with no lights.

There have been a few accidents at this junction in the past when foreign student forget we don't stop for people crossing the road and they need to look the wrong way when crossing.

I also have to watch my step when holidaying in the U.K., We are used to looking left before crossing the road, and in Bournemouth ( the town of my birth), I almost met my maker, 1 (not my fault) on the corner of, 1. Brassey rd/Wimborne rd, 2. manor rd (I was 100% at fault) so there you are, facts before you start to blame us poor bloody foreigners!. To the injured lady, get well soon .
