WILTS and Dorset buses will observe the silence on Remembrance Sunday, November 11.

Drivers will stop their buses if it is safe and legal to do so.

Operations manager Ed Wills said: “We believe that the thousands of passengers travelling with us at that time will understand and accept a two-minute delay to their journey.

“It is important to show respect to those who not only gave their lives for us in the two world wars but for the service men and women who have died in recent and current conflicts.”

Many of the buses will carry large poppies on the front of the vehicles to support the Royal British Legion’s annual appeal.
