I WONDER if your Wimborne/ Colehill readers could kindly help solve a puzzle close to my heart?
In 1998, we took in a black Labrador from Labrador Rescue, who was born in the Wimborne/ Colehill area on April 30 that year.
He was a wonderful dog and we had a great life together. He died in February this year and, even though we have another lovely dog and I see 60+ dogs per week with my work, we still miss him. It would be lovely to know more about his breeding. Rescues for good reason don’t divulge this, but now he is gone, I don’t mind enquiring!
It would be nice to think that our next pup might share some of his forebears, not trying to replace him, but just for a sense of continuity.
We’d be so pleased to hear from the breeder or anyone who may have had a sibling.
