IN the last few weeks, I was witness to some wonderful music in Falkland Square played by the Poole Sea Cadets Band.
I felt proud that there are youngsters out there that would rather entertain than annoy us “oldies” and what’s more, give up their time to do so.
Around the same time, I went to the Salvation Army to be entertained by the Salvation Army Youth Band.
This was another fine example of youngsters doing what they do best, playing good music, so, even though I am not a musician, I would like to “blow my trumpet for them”.
They deserve every ounce of praise and hopefully other youngsters will follow their example.
