IN reply to the Daily Echo reader (Mrs P J Warwick ), I agree Victoria Road, Parkstone is a disgrace if you attempt to walk on the pavements.
I walk down this road every day and every day it gets worse with dog mess. Most of the time their owners make no attempt to pick up their dog’s mess.
If you have to walk down the hill it gets much worse, because you are faced with another obstacle, cars half parked on the pavement.
Every day there are at least 12 cars parked on the pavement. I feel sorry for parents with pushchairs. It must be a nightmare to tell your children “mind the dog mess and don’t walk into the cars.”
I am aged 66 and never had a driving lesson in my life, but Victoria Road is beyond a joke.
The Olympics may be over but if you walk down Victoria Road you are faced with an obstacle course.
This is not like the Olympics , only a four-year event. Victoria Road is an everyday event!
