I AM unfortunately a mobility scooter user but I bought mine. For a four figure sum!
I’m very sorry to hear the person was hit and the driver never stopped. But please don’t think we are all like that.
For your readers’ sake I would like them to know I and others do have a Reg-Doc and number plate and tax disc.
But I was told at the DVLA don’t buy a number plate and keep the disc on your person because they get stolen if you display them on the scooter.
Believe me, I would like to walk about but if I do I’m in constant pain.
Who knows the next person who might need one?
