I FEEL so upset and angry, if we don’t soon start to cull some of the beastly magpies we are not going to have any small birds left.

All we hear around this area is the distress call of the poor blackbird.

We rush out, clap hands, make a noise and more often than not the magpie appears near the blackbird preening itself after it has eaten – horrible.

It is not unusual to see 16 on my neighbour’s roof at one time.
