PRISONERS seem to have a lot better lives than some of our vulnerable and elderly population.
They get good food, warm cells, television etc paid for by the taxpayers.
How ironic it is when people who break the law get comfortable accommodation, yet law-abiding citizens who have worked hard all their lives get punished.
We have to try to pay their bills to eat and keep warm and also have to pay for their own care by selling their homes if necessary!
It seems the “human rights bill” doesn’t apply to the elderly or is it they have no champion acting for them?
Isn’t it time the powers that be punish the offenders, not our elderly population?
