WHEN are we going to be informed of the final decision of the Green Bin Saga?
There have been so many suggestions, to name a few – sharing a bin with a neighbour, discounts to those who apply by a certain date, those who hold an Access to Leisure Card, putting small amounts of rubbish into small grey bins (that is the category I wish to come under).
Has the ‘supremo’ been appointed (claiming a salary of £34,500 per year) to run this service?
One question – could the people who want to keep their bins, keep them and the people like myself who do not want them, arrange to have the bins removed? Not really much to ask to get a simple reply.
So many people agree with me and have found the time to write, and I do think that we are entitled to a fair outcome. Why should we have to pay for someone collecting (in my case and I suspect many others) grass cuttings?
As a widow in a bungalow, I pay a reduced rate of £97 per month, which I expect will be raised again this year. Surely this includes payment for waste collection.
