FURTHER to the article in the Daily Echo (February 1, 2012) there is no way that I will be attending the events on February 25/26 to ‘walk-over’ the new bridge in Poole and buy a certificate.
It is not a “stunning symbol” for the town, just an eyesore and a waste of money – going to nowhere.
I mentioned this event to friends in Poole and they, like me, are not interested.
I hope all the council members and staff have fun on that day and buy their “commemorative certificates”.
