WHY on earth does Chris Chope MP think we, New Forest residents, need him to make it easy to abolish the National Park Authority? He does not even represent us!
As for Julian Lewis MP, should the boundary changes come into being, and if he stands again at the next General Election his present seat will mostly be outside the National Park.
The National Park Authority will not be abolished and I can assure him, we genuine locals will keep a watchful eye on it.
Messrs Chope, Lewis and Swayne give me much concern as they all want to interfere with the Forest and yet often disagree with each other over various policies.
Rather like having councillors who move into the area and then dictate to ‘us’ on how we should live our lives. They have no sense of history or understanding.
