MAY I add to the debate on Creation?
There is a story about a great nephew of Charles Darwin.
The little boy said to his mother; ‘Mamma, the Bible says God made the world in seven days; great uncle Charles has written a book which says differently.’ The dear lady replied: “The Bible says seven days, great uncle Charles thinks it took longer. Either way, it is wonderful.”
Perhaps we should spend time following the Gospel instructions to care for our neighbour and stop spending time in arguments which can get nowhere.
As Shakespeare wrote: ‘Lord, what fools these mortals be.’
