IT’S rather like that action-reaction dumb-clever credit card advert. (Don’t shut our bank, March 23). Closing the bank is clever for HSBC as it’s under-used, but dumb that the Milford residents will create more CO2 in the ozone travelling elsewhere to get cash.
And like the post office closures, part of the community dies when things like this happen, driven as ever by cutbacks.
But have no fear, Milford campaigners, if you don’t get your ATM, I feel sure your local supermarket will provide the cash-back facility to help you out.
