I have got the hump and Southbourne certainly has the hump! The traffic calming measures around Stourfield School has spread way beyond the boundary of the school in both directions.

The traffic along Cranleigh Road is busy but with the amount of cars parked alongside the shops and properties it causes more congestion than speed.

I cannot see why it is necessary to have speed humps as far back as Watcombe Road. If you live in Southbourne and want to get out to Bournemouth and beyond you are trapped by these awful humps.

We now cannot drive along Boscombe Overcliff Drive, Wentworth Avenue, Iford Lane and now Cranleigh Road without having to negotiate humps.

I believe better use could have been made of the surplus money that the council is trying to use up before the end of the financial year.
