I HAVE been using our local bus services for a long time and honestly feel the drivers are very polite, friendly and give smiles whilst we are boarding the bus and when we leave the bus.
Only last week I took note when a female driver got out of the driving seat to help an elderly man up from his seat so that he could grab hold of his walking frame, and then she made sure he got down the steps safely.
More of the passengers should manage a smile and a ‘thank you driver’ on getting off at their stop.
