WHAT a shame that the BBC had not kept us informed of the country’s finances during the term of the last Labour government.
All we got was notes joking about the country running out of money.
Now every news bulletin features a reporter being told by a Labour MP what the coalition are doing wrong.
With the size of the national debt as it now stands, then their options to do anything positive are pretty well limited.
Gullible folk think along the same lines as the socialists that money grows on trees and if we run out we could always print some more.
The worry is that after five years of painful austerity cuts the public will exact its revenge by re-electing another Labour government. Then the cycle will start all over again.
