Quick response from police for picking daffodils
I AGREE children should be discouraged from picking the flowers in our parks as they are there for all to enjoy (Daily Echo, March 15), but wow! I was gobsmacked to say the least at the quick response of the police for such a minor crime. I wonder if it was anything to do with the fact it was a councillor who reported it and not Mr General Public.
