WHATEVER has happened at Slades Farm playing fields? I happened to be there on Sunday watching football and the skateboard and BMX park was being used for what it was designed for, the enjoyment for youngsters on – you guessed it – skateboards and BMX bikes.
But what’s happened to the gangs of youths drinking lager and smoking who-knows-what that used to haunt that particular area? Has it been down to the invisible police or just a mass exodus of undesirables? Let’s hope the new cycle track gets the same treatment.
