WE all have a census form for 2011 to fill in. Back in 1851, the return for Buckingham Palace on which Queen Victoria appears as ‘wife’ followed by Prince Consort as head.
I wonder if the returns for this year the Queen follows this as tradition? Or for that matter how Prince Charles fills his in.
Also on the 1851 return for Dorsetshire, Thomas Hardy Bricklayer of Stinsford, family includes Thomas, son, aged 10.
An M.P. for Cornwall is I believe telling his countrymen to put Cornish for nationality, can I put Dorsetshire or maybe Wessex, as I know the census proves the Wareham’s of my family originated at Iwerne Courtney in 1780?
