FOR many years I have written and asked the question, what would happen if there were an earthquake and tsunami near to a nuclear power station?

Unfortunately the reality has occurred in Japan.

We all know the planet’s layers move, creating havoc and yet we (well those in power) carry on regardless. Then those who argue that nuclear waste can be stored underground.

It is the same with the channel tunnel. One day that will collapse.

In the meantime we have New Forest East MP Julian Lewis continually banging on about having Trident nuclear submarines and war heads. We are destroying the planet without the need of any more wars, Dr. Lewis.

Why is there the almighty rush around the world to produce electricity, to make goods which no one often really needs? We don't have to have 24-hour opening, seven days a week. We over-produce so many products that it is a nonsense.

And why? Because someone brainwashed us and insisted that money is the answer to everything. Well, it isn't if we are all going to be killed by it.
