Besides when it went down for a short period to 15 per cent the 2½ per cent was too little and made ‘no difference’.

So why is that same per cent increase made out to be the end of the world?

I recall that fuel duty was adjusted UP to cover the lost 2½ per cent but has it been adjusted DOWN now? I JUST wonder !
