Adrian Fudge (Have Your Say, November 23) complains of the council’s “premature” decision regarding the redevelopment of the Leyton Mount car park site.
The town centre master vision is a partnership between the council and Morgan Sindall investments, with the council putting in land and Morgan Sindall matching this with cash.
Leyton Mount will hopefully be one of the first sites to be developed.
Ex Cllr Fudge well knows the planning procedure (having successfully steered the Imax development through the planning process) and that he will have plenty of opportunity for comment once the planning application has been formally submitted.
