Following my visit to Bournemouth town centre on the November 28 I was very disappointed with the lack of lights turned on.
The commentary could not be heard, and the biggest build up was a count to 10.
Lights further up the square were already on before the official turn-on. The excitement from the audience was soon turned to disappointment when the lights came on.
There was certainly no cheer as people walked away.
