MAY I suggest that my Member of Parliament, Tobias Ellwood (Bournemouth East) leaves the Police to get on with their job on the way protesters who climb on to the roof of Parliament are dealt with and concentrates on some of the legitimate issues raised in your Letters page. In particular how he responds to the report of the Institute of Fiscal Studies that those on lower incomes will experience the biggest impact of pubic spending cuts ? Having done that and as I believe a Bournemouth resident he might then, through your columns, help the present Conservative-controlled Council in Bournemouth to better appreciate how they will be picking up the pieces of the Government’s inept economic policy - a policy that was NOT endorsed by the electorate at the General Election held last May .
