IN reply to the letter headed Where does my council tax go? (Have Your Say, August 28) we are sorry that Mrs Fudge found the public toilets in a state which was less than acceptable.
Public toilets are cleaned several times throughout the day.
They are only as clean as the last person to use the toilets leaves them and we would always encourage people to report toilets which are less than satisfactory to us.
Either call us on 01202 261700, use the Report It facility on the council website or email environment@poole.gov.uk We also work with the police and other agencies where drug abuse is found.
