I AM writing to say a big thank you to the street cleaning department at Bournemouth Town Hall.
Recently I rang them to say that the footpath between Richmond Hill and Braidley Road had become an absolute slum with food packaging, bottles, whole and broken, cans, plastic bags etc.
A large black plastic bag full of rubbish arrived, a block of hard plaster and later the contents of a kitchen bin!
By the next day, the large rubbish had gone, and by the next morning the road looked wonderful again.
So thank you to the young lady on the phone and the cleaners who made such a good job of it.
