THANK goodness the firework display has finished on Poole Quay!
Walking along the quay this morning (Friday, July 30), it was disgusting.
Bottles, cans, rubbish everywhere and somebody had turned over the plants outside the lovely Enid Blyton museum.
They did look pretty and a joy for visitors getting off coaches outside to see.
I would say that at least 95 per cent of the rubbish is bought at supermarkets – boxes, bottles and broken glass everywhere and very dangerous for the children.
If holiday makers were to see this I am sure it would put them off visiting Poole again.
The council working street cleaners will have a hard time clearing this up.
