One has to agree with the comments in the letter regarding Sky sports (Have Your Say, June 30).
It would appear that this company now holds a virtual monopoly on the control of quite a number of the most popular sporting events.
It is mostly financed by paying TV viewers to the detriment of those who do not wish to contribute to the grossly overpaid income of some of the participants, particularly football players.
Is it not time that parliament referred this issue for investigation?
