WE spent Sunday on the beach and of course being so busy there were some close misses with regard to children and cyclists.
We just hope that from today when the restrictions come in, cyclists remember to walk along the seafront – especially between Alum Chine and Branksome Chine.
This is an area where there are no beach attendants and we know from experience that cyclists do not walk this part of the promenade.
Also, as mentioned (Have Your Say, June 28), please beach users (especially students) make sure that all the bottles, cans etc that are brought down to the beach are taken home.
Some young people party all night and leave what they have drunk and eaten the night before behind them.
Think of all the people that will visiting both Bournemouth and Poole during the summer holiday period, not just yourselves.
