I would like to congratulate Saaz Aur Awaaz of the Asian Women's Association for organising the multi-cultural Mela in Kings Park on Sunday.
This was a very enjoyable day with many cultures represented and a fantastic variety of music, dance, foods and stalls on offer.
The respect for family values and particularly for senior members of the family was an example to us all. I hope, like the Thai festival, it will become an annual event.
