Living in Boscombe, I welcomed your article last week concerning cyclists riding on Boscombe High Street.

However, nothing has changed, and in the twenty minutes it took me to drink my coffee outside Boscanovas, 12 cyclists rode past me and two people asked me for money and cigarettes.

The latter were very intimidating and very drunk.

There were no community suppot officers in sight as usual and, despite CCTV cameras in operation, no one turned up.

Surely, if the council can re-vamp Boscombe beach and build a new pier, why can’t they make the rest of Boscombe a safe for families, and visitors?
