Since Draper House care home was closed following a 62 per cent rent increase from Bournemouth council the property has stood empty, but has 24-hour security.
How much is this costing the local taxpayer and how long will the security be in place?
They have started to build a new care home on land adjacent to Draper House so they have obviously made a decision not to refurbish Draper House – what are they doing with it?
Surely, it is more cost-effective to demolish it rather than keep paying security costs?
