It’s no surprise that the Irish have voted for the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty.

We all know they were threatened with financial penalties, should they fail to vote “yes”.

Of course, our Prime Minister Mr Brown welcomes this decision, and should the Poles and Czechs vote in favour, he can back his ex-boss Mr Blair for the presidency of the EU.

Brown and Blair have done what two world wars could not do, and that is to surrender our country without a fight – despite all the promises, we will not be allowed a referendum.

Is this democracy? The Tories and Liberals are no better.

The only word I can use to describe the actions of these politicians is treason.

They make the Gunpowder Plot look like a garden party.

The saying is: “You can always tell when a politician is lying, the lips move”.

God help this country.
