AFTER a recent visit to Poole, my home town, I was awaiting my train on Poole Railway Station when I noticed that all the platform signs say “Welcome to Poole. The home of Bournemouth University”!
I know that the main campus is, indeed, in Poole, so shouldn’t the university be called “The University of Poole”, or at least “The University of East Dorset”?
