As a parent of a pupil of the school involved in this probe I would like to applaud your attitude to this situation (School probes YouTube brawl, Daily Echo, May 1).
Neil Butterworth’s summery of his reasons for publishing makes the point perfectly.
We’d all like to think our children are angels, however this is rarely true, and as parents and schools we should not turn a blind eye to this behaviour – either the bullying or the filming and posting of such terrible scenes.
I really hope this situation is investigated fully and all those involved are dealt with appropriately.
