OVER the past few days since the Prime Minister’s press conference we have seen a rise in cases, hospitalisations and deaths.

On Monday, the Prime Minister announced that as of the July 19 basic public health measures such as masks and social distancing would be scrapped.

We know that after lockdown easing last year we were put into another lockdown, it was during the period of summer and winter meaning we had not done a big bang day like the July 19 which is upon us.

Although we have the vaccines a dose of caution is needed for them to be effective to prevent a potential variant that escapes the vaccine.

The Prime Minister is making promises he possibly can’t keep.
