I DID so want to watch the Blitz on TV the other day but, after hunting round for my glasses and being unable to find them, I gave up and settled down in front the telly to watch it as best I was able.

The advert interval came along and, going into the kitchen to make a cup of tea, I watched the adverts out of the corner of my eye until it came as a shock to remember that without glasses I could not watch adverts.

The rest you will by now guess. I had the glasses on all the time.
