WITH the Southbourne Overcliff Road Closure, once again the BCP Council are steamrolling their agenda through without any concerns for the majority of the public.
Closure of this section of road along the clifftop is the thin edge of the wedge.
Firstly why is a Poole councillor, Andy Hadley, spearheading the adverse effect on an area for which he has no involvement?
The same councillor who told his Poole constituents to get on their bikes if they needed to get to the A&E department at Bournemouth hospital. The same councillor who has forged an alliance with Beryl bikes CEO by including funding to subsidise the roll out of bikes.
The slight detour will not prevent me from accessing this section of road and with winter coming the BCP views that cyclists will still be using the section is laughable.
