I AM happy that cycling is encouraged but I have a question. Why do cyclists ride on the road and when there is a good cycle track?
A lot is being spent on cycle tracks and yet so often they are not used. Should there be some rules about this?
I can imagine the reaction if I drove my car on a cycle track. As an example every time we drive from Parley Cross to Christchurch past Hurn Airport there are always cyclists ignoring the cycle track holding up traffic.
