THE Echo and the police are covering the beaches but not one person of authority has been seen at the River Stour near Kingfisher Barn, Muscliffe.

They have new signs put up to deter large gatherings of people and barbecues.

I walk my dog every day in that area, with the weather I walk in the evening. All the dog bins are full of people’s rubbish (beer cans, bottles and food containers).

There have been fast food deliveries to groups gathered. There is no way that 30 people gathered are all from the same house. Most are also smoking marijuana.

Last night I passed a group with a disposable barbecue, which I’m sure will still be there today.

Also there are signs about no kayaking, especially as there are new signets on the river, but there have been loads.

In the whole of lockdown, I only saw a group of four community officers. They stood around for five minutes and left.

I complained about the cyclists that are racing along the very narrow paths, without any consideration for children or dogs. Nothing was done.
