PLEASE save your used postage stamps and pass them to me or for me at St Peter’s Church, Parkstone.
This appeal is onward going to aid the work of the East Sheen Chengannur Trust in Kerala, South India.
The trust educates children, taking them out of child labour.
Mud homes are washed away by monsoon rains and are being replaced by stone built houses of two rooms and kitchen area for approximately £1,000 each.
Wheelchairs for the disabled are also being made. This creates work and support for the poorest of people.
Donations to the trust or sponsoring of a child in education is also much appreciated. The elderly are also helped as there is no other support for them.
I wish to thank all those who have supported the appeal over the years. Owing to bereavement, I have been unable to make my usual appeal for a couple of years.
