WITH regard to your article in the Echo dated August 5, about the demolition of the church building in Milne Road.
I was surprised to read the Society of Poole Men’s remark insinuating that the building is unsafe when there is a report by a company of consulting civil, structural, and geothermal engineers stating that they “do not consider the building to be in a dangerous condition” and it is “safe to use”.
It is particularly disappointing to read such negative and unsupportable claims by the Society of Poole Men, especially when it is a critical time for the planners to make a decision.
