THIS branding of those who voted out as racially motivated lesser humans is totally incorrect.
I voted out to display my dissatisfaction at being governed by a non-elected, never-audited board of politicians, not because I don’t like foreigners.
Anyone willing to come to this country, to work hard and better their lives is definitely welcome.
My brother has, for a number of years, run bars in Spain, so I can see to a degree what being an immigrant is about from his and his family’s side.
As with all sides, there are minority of the mindless using the vote to display their own uneducated grievances, but, simply, does anyone really believe that suddenly there are 17 million out and out racists in this country?
The answer is no, the racist card is being played by the government, the press and the sore losers in the vote to hit back at those who voted out.
What is required now is politicians who come forward and say how can we work with these new conditions, not back-pedal, backstab and use the current climate for their own 15 minutes of fame.
