I WAS a patient attending the gynaecology department at Poole Hospital.
In that time, I had four appointments to see the registrars in the outpatients’ department and had three scans spaced out four months apart, plus two operations – one for day surgery on February 27 and the second operation on September 28.
I stayed in overnight on DSU Red Team Ward B2 and was discharged on September 29.
I am extremely thankful for the skill and dedication of the consultant, young doctors, nurses and everyone else for their kindness towards me while I was in their care.
I think we are very lucky to live in the UK, which provides such a wonderful National Health Service.
