I WAS saddened to read in Thursday’s Echo that the ‘Fit Christchurch Fun Day’ has had to be called off.
These events are great for all ages and can be enjoyed by families, so I hope the organisers will have more success next time.
We have an event taking place on the same day, Saturday 19th September, at Bournemouth School for Girls that features good health, fitness and wellbeing.
On this day, the Lions Club of Bournemouth are holding ‘Healthy Happy Living 2015’ which has free admission.
Among the displays, many of which you can take part in, will be trade stands, alternative therapies, music & dance, cookery demonstrations, sport and fitness etc.
You can also get checks and advice for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol etc. It’s all under one roof, refreshments will be available and Bournemouth Lions will be on hand to help you enjoy this unique event.
