WITH regard to the Navitus Bay plan, if this scheme gets the go-ahead and the precedent is set, are there any safeguards in place to stop this company coming back in future years and applying to build even more turbines?
Also I understand these turbines have a life expectancy of 25 years and nobody has explained who will foot the bill for dismantling them when they become economically unviable.
I believe these questions need answers before any permission is given.
