Helmet cams are an increasingly popular cycling accessory.
They are there for recording your rides to show friends and family what you’ve been up to and also providing evidence should you have to prove your version of events in the case of an incident.
In the case of the latter I do hope the cyclist with the helmet cam I saw in Parkstone during last week’s rush hour traffic is not selective in his editing and reports himself with camera to the local police station showing him speeding along on the pavement.
I am a driver and occasional pedestrian.
